The Department of Computer Science, established in 2017, stands as one of the youngest departments in this college. Nevertheless, it has a considerable list of achievements to showcase, made possible only through the tireless efforts and dedication of the faculty members and the devotion of the department's students.

Computers, being the most important instruments to delve into the depths of the subject, make the well-illuminated, air-conditioned laboratory the sanctum sanctorum for the students.

We envision to popularize the discipline of computer science instil an attitude for furtherance of software development, algorithmic design, network technologies, machine learning and deep learning approaches, IoT, advanced computer graphics, AR/VR, etc.

Our department aims to organize national and international seminars to ignite a spirit of cooperation and upgradation of academic excellence among the students.

Furthermore, the department endeavours to provide impetus for emerging entrepreneurs to start their own startups.

Industrial visits to the IT SEZ are organized by the department to give the students an insight into the BAU.

• Till now, 3 batches of students have successfully graduated with pretty high scores, holding the top-position in the University merit list.
• The department has propelled its students to several premier institutes of India and is continues to be devoted to this mission.
• Furthermore, some students have joined the MNCs like TCS, Wipro, ByteDance etc. as IT professionals.
• Recently, a student of the department has got confirmation from NASA and IAU Minor Planet Center for the discovery of two unique and undiscovered asteroids through data analysis.
